Jenny McCarthy started out her career by posing for Playboy after the magazine offered her $20,000 to appear in the October 1993 issue. She then became Playmate of the Month. After appearing in the magazine, she became a TV host on Playboy TV and also on MTV.

Since then, she has appeared in films like BASEketball, Diamonds, Santa Baby, and Scream 3. McCarthy also appeared as a co-host on The View. She now is a judge on musical competition The Masked Singer. McCarthy is also known for her “alternative medical” approach, especially in regards to autism, and for her erroneous conspiracy theories involving a link between vaccines and autism, which have since been thoroughly debunked.
