Quickly, the couple did a few calculations and learned that he’d be cutting it very close. His daughter’s due date would be around the time he was coming home. Then, in Haley’s seventh month of the pregnancy, the couple received sad news!

Before getting shipped out to Kuwait, Brooks had to have special training. Therefore, he flew to Texas, and the timing was horrible! The period of his being in Texas clashed perfectly with the due date of his first daughter. They had to find a way for him to be home for the birth!
