Although Luke agreed to these terms, in the end he did end up getting some help. He got some help from parents, but only when it was very necessary. That’s how he learned how to frame a structure, wire a house, deal with adults, and manage his finances while building the project.

Greg shared that: “It was a chance for a kid to do something more than play video games or sports. It teaches life lessons.” While a lot of kids are distracted by tablets, phones, and social media, Greg knew this was a great opportunity to teach his sons about being self-sufficient.
