Clarence Anglin, Frank Lee Morris, John Anglin, and Allen West were the four men who succeeded in escaping from Alcatraz. The two brothers, Clarence and John, met Frank at another prison, so they trusted him. However, Allen was simply close to the three.

Frank Morris was sent to Alcatraz because of his many crimes throughout history. He was in the foster care system as a kid, and his first conviction happened at 13 years old. That behavior continued to spiral and turned into countless more.
