McQueen was considered very demanding during the height of his career. He earned more than many stars in the 1960s, and he’d ask for jeans and electric razors while on film sets. Film studios often gave in to him, and they later learned he donated everything to the Boys Republic.

Steve starred in various films with motorcycle and car chases, but he had a need for speed in daily life, too. He had an amazing collection of vintage, rare, and classic vehicles, such as the Porsche 908 from Le Mans.
