A City in the Clouds

This breathtaking photo is of a church, the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, located in Umbria, Italy. The building looks like a still taken right out of a fantasy, a bird’s eye view that is only seen through the eye of a drone. The building is home to St. Francis himself, at least, what’s left of him. His remains are kept within a tomb somewhere within the church. Found within the tomb were 12 silver coins, 29 beads, a ring, a piece of iron, and a stone that doubled as his head’s resting place.

Overstuffed Bunny

If there was any speculation that the Easter bunny was, without a doubt real, then this 200-foot-long, 20-foot-high rabbit could double as its corpse. The giant bunny, found by a drone in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy in 2005, is a wonder all its own. The affectionately nicknamed, Hase or Hare, was completely knitted using pink wool. Thought to survive well into the year of 2025, the poor pink menace only managed to make it to 2016 before decomposing.
