Edgar Allan Poe wasn’t the only one who was fond of black ravens apparently. This woman had a pet to perfectly fit her all-black ensemble and extreme eyeliner. The massive raven sat calmly on her knee for the entire subway commute. Luckily, she decided to follow the rules and keep her companion on a leash. Although strange, bringing the raven onto the subway was actually perfectly legal with the addition of the leash. Fellow commuters were certainly forced to do a double take when they noticed, though.

There are rules of public transportation, and then there are the unspoken rules that everyone chooses to follow. Those unspoken rules include matters of respect like not blasting your music, being loud, or bringing anything too smelly onto the bus. This woman didn’t seem to care, and she just wanted to enjoy her snack of choice. Other commuters were not impressed when she pulled out an entire jar of mayonnaise to eat with a spoon. Needless to say, there were a few complaints made.
