Life of an Oil Rigger

Average laborers don’t cut it as oil rig workers. However, you also don’t need an education in this field. That doesn’t mean you aren’t smart, as Dino has proven. Experience is far more important than education. What this laborer would soon learn is that one woman would change his life forever…

Finding a Partner

Fellow employees described Dino as a nice and quiet guy. He was unlike the other hard-partying guys on the rig. The only thing that was missing from his life now was a woman to enjoy his successes with.

Not in a Rush

Although the other oil rig employees seemed to go through various girlfriends each week, Dino was in no rush. He had patience and was waiting for the right woman. However, he didn’t realize what he was getting into when he chose a particular beautiful girl.

A Different League

Dino introduced his new girlfriend Andrea to his friends and their jaws dropped to the floor. However, after getting to know her, they said that she was very beautiful, but this only compensated for her awful personality.

A Better Man

Because Dino was quite ordinary-looking and shy, it could be said that Andrea was physically out of his league. However, personality-wise, it was evident that Dino was the real deal and Andrea was lucky to have him.

Strange

Many of Dino’s friends were proud of him for landing such an attractive woman. However, one of these friends was a little more suspicious. After getting to know her a little more, the friend believed that she was one of the most self-centered people he had ever met.

Manipulating

The friend went on to say that she was very smart. Anyone could tell that after spending a few minutes with her. Yet, she was devastatingly gorgeous. She used her beauty and intelligence to manipulate those around her.

Moving in

Although this friend felt this way, he didn’t have any evidence to present his friend with. Soon enough, Andrea moved in with Dino. On the surface, everything was going well. However, Dino started getting suspicious while he was away at work.

Living Together

As you can imagine, moving in is a massive step between two people. It can easily make or break a relationship. Hopefully, any issues that arose between Andrea and Dino could be overcome together. What would happen while Dino was away making a living?

Bank Statement Issues

Things seemed strange when Dino browsed through his bank statements. Dino had left his girlfriend with a credit card while he was out at the rig. In his bank statement, multiple massive purchases amounting to $500 were taken out for groceries.

Gold Digging

Either Andrea was eating $500’s worth of groceries each day, or she was taking out cash-back from the grocery store. It was becoming clear that Dino had a gold digger for a girlfriend. He knew he needed to do something.

Weird Behavior

Andrea’s weird behavior led Dino to suspect that she wasn’t remaining faithful. She did have ample opportunity to have an affair while Dino was away. That’s when Dino decided to surprise Andrea by coming home a few days early.

Confirmed Suspicions

Once he arrived home, Dino’s suspicions were confirmed. The condominium association’s security came up with him to his apartment to be a witness. Andrea wasn’t expecting him to come home for a few days, so she was caught off guard when Dino arrived.

Terrible Revelations

There’s no doubt that Andrea was surprised, but Dino was in complete shock. The honest oil rig worker found his girlfriend with her lover in the condo. Although Dino was hurt, he didn’t lose his temper. He told the man to leave.

Andrea’s Turn

After Andrea’s lover left Dino’s condo, it was Andrea’s turn. While remaining calm and collected, Dino handed his cheating girlfriend a key to a hotel room, $50 to get a cab, and told her to get out of his apartment.

Her Anger

Andrea didn’t take this very well. Although she had just been caught cheating, all of her things were in this condo. However, she could have shown more humility and less entitlement. This was possibly the first time Andrea had been put in her place, and she didn’t like it.

Calling the Police

Andrea was screaming, apologizing, crying, and proclaiming her love for Dino while cursing him a moment later. However, Dino maintained his level-headedness. That’s when he asked the security guard to call the police. After verifying that the property was Dino’s, Andrea was asked to leave.

Not the End

This situation should have ended once Andrea was told to leave, but she was vindictive. Dino took away all the comforts he had given his cheating ex-girlfriend. Andrea needed to face that Dino wasn’t going to provide for her anymore.

However, his ex-girlfriend wasn’t giving up without a fight. She constantly called Dino but to no avail. Eventually, she made an appearance at his building thinking she would have direct access. Yet, she was mistaken, which didn’t please her.

Additionally, Dino didn’t tell Andrea where her things were. She found this out once she arrived at his apartment. The doorman handed her a key and told her to head to the storage unit. He finished this by saying that she was no longer welcome on the property.

Andrea wasn’t going to let anyone treat her like this. It was then that she decided she was going to hit her ex-boyfriend where it hurt. In the meantime, Dino had ensured she couldn’t get close to anything that he cared about – or so he believed.

Dino could rest well knowing that everything he owned was safe from Andrea. However, his apartment wasn’t his only prized possession and he was bound to discover that not all of his items were safe from Andrea’s reach.

His Pride and Joy

Along with his apartment, Dino had another valuable asset. This was a Chevy Monte Carlo. A few weeks after his breakup with Andrea, Dino returned from the oil rig and was shocked to see the state of his car.

Damaged

His car was no longer in tip-top condition. It had four flat tires, a can of red paint poured over it, and a smashed windshield. Because the security at his garage wasn’t very tight, he couldn’t tell who had done it but he had a pretty good idea.

Furious

At this point, Andrea had done something Dino couldn’t forgive her for. Now it was time to serve the revenge Andrea deserved, but Dino knew that he would need to be patient to pull off what he was planning.

Striking Back

Dino returned to the oil rig and didn’t miss a beat regarding his work commitments. Soon, he would find an opportunity to strike back. For now, it was time to start planning the best approach.

A Helpful Friend

Once Dino learned that his cheating ex-girlfriend was getting married, he began plotting. He found out about the engagement from one of his friends, Nancy, who became a co-conspirator with Dino. She helped put his plan into action.

A Friend

Nancy was a good friend who wanted to help Dino get the revenge he deserved. Their plot started with an anonymous letter addressed to Andrea. It was time Andrea got what she deserved for cheating, betraying Dino, and mooching off of him.

A Month Before

Approximately a month before Andrea’s wedding to someone, Dino sent an anonymous letter. The envelope this letter was sealed in also had three pictures. These pictures were of Dino’s damaged Monte Carlo, a wedding dress, and a ketchup packet.

Getting His Revenge

Accompanying these pictures was a three-word sentence stating ‘Red on White.’ With this cryptic message, Andrea knew that Dino was planning his revenge. She began worrying about her pure white wedding dress, and rightfully so.

The Store

Dino had found what store Andrea was getting her wedding dress made. He went to the store and asked one of the workers if he wanted to make a quick $100. All this worker needed to do was call Andrea and tell her that she needed to choose the red lace trim for her gown.

Freaking Out

Andrea arrived 20 minutes after this call was made. She was freaking out and demanded to know what was happening. The worker said that it was her fiancé who had ordered the red lace for her dress, but she knew this wasn’t true.

Helpful Friends

With the wedding day approaching fast, Dino waited until there were only three weeks left. Nancy ‘slipped up’ and told Andrea that one of Dino’s friends could be helping with the catering. Andrea was terrified that this friend would dump pasta or tomatoes over her dress.

Paranoia

It didn’t end there. Dino anonymously sent Andrea 30 different red lipsticks from various Amazon sellers, but she couldn’t trace this delivery back to Dino. He continued tormenting her until she was hysterical.

Concerned

Andrea had every reason to fear Dino’s revenge. Although she hadn’t seen him in more than two years, she didn’t forget what she had done. She understood that he was smart, so she was concerned about what he would do.
